JAG Implant Training Academy 2025-2026: Start Your Implant Dentistry Journey.
JAG Implant Training Academy offers a comprehensive 10-module course for dentists beginning their implant journey. Held from September 2025 to June 2026 at Precision Implant Clinic, this program provides 70 hours of verifiable CPD through lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and live surgeries. Designed for GDC or IDC-registered dentists with at least 3 years of postgraduate experience, the course covers essential topics like patient assessment, surgical techniques, prosthetics, guided bone regeneration, and digital dentistry. With mentorship through at least 10 simple cases and continuous support, JAG ensures delegates gain the skills, confidence, and business acumen to excel in implant dentistry. In association with EdiQual and ADI, and sponsored by Insera, AVIVO, and Dental Lab, this course includes lunch, a course dinner, and exclusive ADI membership discounts.
Aim & Objectives
- Aim: To equip early-career dentists with the practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and mentorship needed to confidently assess, plan, and execute implant treatments while building a successful implant dentistry practice.\
- Objectives:
- Develop foundational skills in dental implantology, including patient assessment, consent processes, and implant selection protocols.
- Master surgical techniques such as flap design, suturing, and immediate implant placement through hands-on practical sessions and live surgeries.
- Gain expertise in implant prosthetics, including the use of healing abutments, intraoral scanning, and effective lab communication.
- Learn advanced procedures like guided bone regeneration, sinus lifts, and soft tissue management to address complex cases.
- Understand digital workflows and guided surgery techniques to enhance precision in implant planning and placement.
- Build confidence in managing peri-implant complications, such as mucositis and peri-implantitis, and maintaining long-term implant success.
- Receive mentorship through a minimum of 10 simple cases, with ongoing support to grow both clinical and business skills in implant dentistry.

Dr. Andrew Little graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2008. Dr. Little owns and runs Precision Implant clinic Banbridge. With over 15 years of experience in implant dentistry, trained under the renowned Dr. Ashok Sethi, Dr Little undertake all aspects of implant dentistry, from the single implant in the aesthetic zone to complex hard and soft grafting, and full arch rehabilitation, delivering high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs. He Teaches on Eduqual implant certificate as a partner in the JAG Implant Academy, and mentors for Implant Conneqt. Register in UK and Ireland.

Grainne McCloskey
UCLAN Msc in Clinical Implants, Msc in Oral Surgery, University of Ulster COMD
Grainne has obtained a Msc in Clinical Implants through UCLAN and a Msc in Oral Surgery through University of Ulster through COMD. She attained her Membership of Advanced Dental surgeons trough the RCSEd along with her MFDS and has a dip in PCD and MGDS through the RCSI. She currently owns and runs two dental practices in Northern Ireland, employing over 25 people and works in Specialist Practice placing and restoring dental implants and oral surgery. She has been placing and restoring implants for over 20 years using multiple systems such as Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Ankylos, Inserta, Southern Implants and Zimmer Biomet. Grainne recently obtained an MSC Clinical Implantology (UCLAN) and is currently doing an online guide bone regeneration course. She has also recently achieved her masters in Clinical Oral Surgery (University of Ulster), Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry, as Diploma of membership of the faculty of Dental Surgery and has membership in advanced dental general surgery. Grainne has training and experience in using a CBCT scanner and has extensive experience in digital dentistry (cerec) and guided surgery.
