Aim & Objectives
- Aim: To advance the clinical and theoretical expertise of general dentists in implant dentistry, enabling them to independently plan and execute complex implant treatments with precision and confidence.\
- Objectives:
- Enhance skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical techniques for implant dentistry through interactive lectures and case-based learning.
- Gain hands-on proficiency in advanced procedures, including immediate implant placement, sinus lifts, and bone reconstruction, using cadaver labs and live surgeries.
- Master soft tissue management and mucogingival techniques to ensure long-term implant success and aesthetic outcomes.
- Develop expertise in implant prosthodontics, focusing on prosthetic design, occlusal management, and digital data transfer for functional restorations.
- Learn digital workflows and guided surgery, utilizing 3D planning software to improve precision in implant placement and prosthetic outcomes.
- Understand implant maintenance, complication management, and peri-implantitis treatment to ensure durable patient results.
- Build confidence in managing complex full-arch cases, including All-on-X protocols, through practical training and faculty supervision.
